Cobblestone Mining Rig by CrazyRonn Cobblestone Mining Rig by CrazyRonn
After establishing the Coastal Outpost, i wanted to have a ready source of Cobblestone. with some things learned form previous maps, i assumed gathering resources would be simpler on the ocean floor, as you dont have to initially dig as much. whether or not this is practically true, i continued on and constructed something along the likes of an Oil Rig, but it was for Cobblestone. It has a dock for maybe two boats, and has a systematically cleared room underground (bottom image). mining has ceased as i (not kidding) had run into a cave in EVERY direction - north, south, east, west, up, and down, preventing any symmetrical clearing (minecraft makes me, if not everybody, a little more OCD). some of the holes are filled with random bits of gravel, as this mine has been used in a new light, as a flint farm. placed precariously above the rig is the rail line, which was originally made just to simply link the new establishments (the Island and the Coastal Outpost) and bridge the waterway. everybody knows thats not all it does anymore...

Middle is the rig's station (newly designed)
Bottom is the mine
